Taxes

This reform is going to take some time and much study.

We believe we need more capitalism not less. However, our tax code is loaded with loopholes. Honestly, we must break it down. In DC, for example, we see large non-profits becoming real estate holding companies that do not pay into our real property tax rolls. Our nation was founded, in part, on the individual. We must get back to that way of being, so long as we do it with empathy for those who need a little bit of help.

DC's tax code should be simple and fair. The code can be an important way to incentivize our behavior towards our economic renewal, rather than protect political power structures, both commercial and non-commercial.
